Chrysty Esperanza is Chief Legal Officer at Block, Inc., where she leads the legal, regulatory, and global public policy teams.  A longtime leader of Block’s legal team, Chrysty provides strategic counsel on managing risk on a broad spectrum of issues. She previously held positions at Electronic Arts Inc., served as a Deputy Attorney General at the California Department of Justice, and also as an associate at Farella, Braun and Martel. Chrysty holds a BA from UCLA and JD from UC Law SF (formerly Hastings College of the Law). Chrysty lives in San Francisco with her husband and three sons.
