Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, PayPal

Amy Bonitatibus is PayPal’s Chief Corporate Affairs Officer. Her expertise in marketing and communications has taken her from the halls of Congress to the senior ranks of Wall Street and Silicon Valley. Today, she is responsible for protecting and enhancing the PayPal brand, amplifying innovation, and driving PayPal’s transformation story among its 25,000 employees and hundreds of millions of consumers and merchants worldwide. Amy manages a global team spanning external and internal communications, social impact, corporate responsibility, and sustainability across both PayPal and Venmo.

Most recently, Amy served as Chief Communications Officer and head of Integrated Marketing at Wells Fargo where she led a team of more than 500 communicators and marketers. She was responsible for redefining the corporate narrative, reshaping the brand, and highlighting the company’s positive impact in the communities it serves. She also managed the in-house advertising agency, comprised of roughly 150 designers, copywriters, account managers and art directors that cultivated the brand’s story and drove positive perception through rich content and powerful creative.

Prior to Wells Fargo, Amy was at JPMorganChase for a decade where she held senior marketing and communications positions, including Chief Communications Officer of Chase and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for the Home Lending business. Amy led some of Chase’s highest-profile public relations and marketing campaigns, including the launch of the Freedom Unlimited and Sapphire Reserve credit cards, which was lauded by Wall Street Journal as “Best of the Year” for its public relations campaign. Under her leadership as CMO, the Home Lending business achieved record conversion rates and digital adoption.

Before JPMorgan Chase, Amy managed executive communications and media relations at Fannie Mae and led a grassroots media campaign for the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Making Home Affordable program. Amy was previously deputy press secretary to Senator Hillary Clinton and served as communications and policy director on several congressional campaigns.

Amy holds a Master of Policy Management and Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University.
